The Lawrence Jacket: Prototype II

It felt good to take some initial promo shots of the jacket. Like another significant step towards bringing the whole thing to life.

At this stage, the Lawrence is still definitely a prototype. It looks and feels great but we still need to identify final fabrics and find out where they’re going to come from. Then, find factories that not only see the world through the same lens but are willing to take on short runs.

As far as photography goes, the next stage is to get it out into the wild. The studio is great as a starting point but there’s a very specific vision that I want to bring to life. Barnfield represents a return to a life of purpose and of balance. To me, that means getting outside, getting away from concrete walls and experiencing wide open spaces. The photography needs to represent that if it’s going to be authentic.

Winter is fast approaching but if we act fast, there should still be a couple of opportunities to get out.
