MEASUREMENTS
The details in the table below are the exact garment measurements in centimetres taken on the outside of the jacket. Use these details to compare against other similar jackets you own.
Don’t forget, the Lawrence is quilted and so the inside measurements around the circumference of the chest and waist are smaller by approximately 2cm (1 inch).
If you’re in between sizes, go for the larger of the two.

HOW TO MEASURE
The Lawrence is a slim fit jacket. Getting your measurements right will help you choose the right size. To get them right, you’ll need someone to give you a hand. Click on each of the sections below for directions and diagrams.
-
The shoulder bone is the bony bit that forms the highest point of your shoulder. Measure across the top of your shoulders, across your back, from one shoulder bone to the other.
-
Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, which is usually across your nipples. Make sure the tape is parallel to the ground across your chest and back.
-
Measure around your natural waistline, which is the narrowest part of your torso between your ribcage and hips. To find your natural waistline, bend sideways - the crease that forms is your waistline. Make sure the measuring tape is snug but not too tight or too loose.
-
This is easiest when measuring against a jacket you already own.
Measure from the point at which the sleeve head attaches to the shoulder, all the way down to the end of the cuff.
-
Measure from the centre of your back at the base of your neck, down to the point where you expect the jacket to end.
This is probably easiest measuring a jacket you already own as it takes out some of the guesswork.

CHART
The details in the table below indicate what size Lawrence jacket is most likely to make sense based on your usual size.
It’s worth noting that the Lawrence is a tailored slim fit and is true to size worn over a single layer.
If you are between sizes or intend to wear it over multiple layers or armour, you’ll need to step up a size.
