Each Hampden is individually handmade to order in England. Expertly crafted over the course of 12 weeks from premium melton wool, every coat is an investment in British skill and uncompromising standards.

Design.

Cut to a traditional slim fit, the Hampden is made with 100% wool melton from Abraham Moon who have more than 185 years of manufacturing history to their name.

Production.

Each Hampden is handmade in England. Cut, stitched and finished by people who’ve spent their working lives mastering their craft.

Ownership.

The moment your Hampden leaves the workshop is when the story really starts. Made to exacting standards, we fully expect you to pass it on to the next generation.

Day one

Week 12+

THE DETAILS

Wool, organic cotton, satin and natural horn. Nothing else.

Natural horn.

Laser engraved, natural buffalo horn buttons secured through keyhole button holes cut and sewn on traditional Reese 101 machines.

Two layers.

14mm silk twill line the back and sleeves whilst British melton wool lines the front and side panels, trapping air close to the blody and creating two layers of exceptional warmth without any bulk.

Storm cuffs.

Hidden organic cotton storm cuffs add to the Hampden's warmth and security without affecting the balance or structure of the sleeves.

Profile stitching.

The collar is stiffened with interfacing and finished with profile stitching giving it shape when down and support when protecting your face from the elements.

Polish cuffs.

A unique and individual nod to a military influence, angled 'Polish' cuffs finish the articulated and tailored sleeves.
